Our web store has a host site to accept orders and process credit cards.  They then notify us of the sale so that the merchandise can be shipped.   On more than one occasion, we did not receive an e-mail notifying us of the sale , so now we are asking all customers to sign in so that your information will be available and your order can be properly processed.  We will NEVER use or share any information  received, not send out unsolicited e-mails.

Bonsai and Things Shibui sells Bonsai trees that are well established, watered and secured in their pot as well as in their shipping box to prevent damage.  We only ship 3 day UPS or FedEx due to the perishable nature of a living tree confined to a box.  Orders received after Tuesday will not go out until the following Monday.  A small bag of top dressing will accompany your tree as well as a detailed care sheet.  Please feel free to e-mail any questions you may have on caring for your tree that is not covered by the care sheet or if you're not sure of the instructions.  The most important thing to remember is that trees need sufficient light, water and fertilizer plus a little tender care to thrive.

 Tools are inspected prior to shipping and are cushioned to prevent damage in transit.  They may go by U S Postal Service to facilitate delivery.   Joshua Roth tools have a one year warranty, however proper care must be used.  If you encounter difficulty in cutting a branch, make several cuts around the entire area to ease your way in removing the branch.  Never put extreme pressure on the points of any tool, the points can break.  A slender saw will overheat and warp if used too fast and too long, let it rest when making a big cut.   It's best to remember that care and moderation will will pay off in prolonging the life and usefulness of tools and equipment.   Again, please e-mail if you need any advice or help in the use of your tools.

The Garage Sale items are mostly gently used, but in very good to excellent condition.  There will be a certain amount of new items offered, mostly due to my purchasing the same thing twice.  My loss is your gain.
