This juniper has an compact needle and growth pattern and can be shaped in many styles. It lends itself to cascade style by the way it sends out long, strong branches. It does best outdoors, but might be kept in a cold frame in northern areas. It should be protected from freezing due to the restricted pot and root ball size. It can NOT dry out.
