Known in Japan as Mataeda-Kiri Hasami, all of these tools in the Joshua Roth line are razor sharp and designed for cutting branches flush to the trunk, the resulting wound can then heal over quickly with a minimum of scarring. The concave cutter is th single most inportant tool for bonsai use for which there is no substitute. The 8" version is considered the basic standard size. This high carbon steel cutter will keep a sharp edge indefinitely with proper use and care. The vinyl coated handles provide a comfortable and sure grip.
