Ficus-Green Island, Specimen

Very large ficus with round leaves, slant style.

Also known as Ficus Microcarpa-Green Gem, this specimen bonsai tree has numerous aerial roots and slants out over a new oval ceramic pot. Thick leaves are glossy and deep green and will reduce with pinching back buds and removal of larger leaves, A prolific berry producer, it likes thorough and regular watering. Close-up of roots and back views can be e-mailed on request. High wind prevented use of a backdrop, so the tree doesn't stand out as it should. A new picture will be posted as soon as possible. The tree is approximately 30 years old. It takes two people to lift it, with no way to weigh it, weight is approximate.  The size and weight prevent shipment, since we have no way to make a suitable crate for safe shipping and no way  to transport it to an airport.   This specimen is only available for locak pick up unless you can arrange for transport.
