Ficus Philippinensis-Specimen

Very large ficus tree in ceramic pot, branches tend to weep.

Tree has an expansive root system and heavy aerial roots. It is between 35 and 40 years old. It's structure developed when roots got into the ground and caused a growth surge. The leaves are narrower than the standard benjimina ficus. High winds prevented set up of a backdrop, when weather permits a better picture will be posted. This tree is too heavy to weigh, it takes 2 strong men to move it. As branches lengthen, they have a tendency to weep slightly, giving it a soft attractive appearance. Due to the size and weight we cannot construct a crate for safe shippingn nor do we have the capability to to ransport a large heavy cra te to an airport.  This specimen is local pick up only, unless you can arrange for transport .
