Small shrub makes an interesting small bonai, interesting trunk, tiny leaves.

Nashia inaguensis is the botanical name of this native of the Bahamas Islands. It has fragrant very tiny leaves, very small flowers and bark that roughens with age, giving it an old appearance. Makes an excellent small or shohin bonsai. Likes moist conditions. Fast growing, needs to be clipped often in the growing season. Does not like to be root bound, needs repotting. Easy to propagate from cuttings. Full sun and protect from freezing.
